Bisazza Tile San Diego

And goes on:)

Hello Hello, here I am again. As I announced the last time already, I have to work now begun. 've Spent the last two weeks so that project and meet the children and me to wonder in what form I could bring the best. As already mentioned, I will teach theater, music and English, but must write a program for each of the subjects, what has turned out to be not that easy. The children are quite lively but mostly and it's not rare that even one of them gets into a rage. The most difficult to work with the children, however, is to motivate them to participate. It has perhaps less to do with their difficult past than the fact that many of them currently in the middle of puberty. Nevertheless, or perhaps precisely for this reason I have them all pretty happy and it's fun to work with them. Monday and Friday I'm in a different part of the project, which is more settled in the area of prevention. Then I'm out in various slums of the city and teach younger children. This also makes it pretty fun. Many of the young have taken me very quickly and do me at the end of the lesson hardly leave out. Saturday morning I'm still the third sub-project "La Muralla soy yo!" Here, which means as much as "The wall's me." This project also plays more in the area of prevention. The emphasis is on the one hand with various stakeholders (hotels, taxi drivers, police, schools, universities, etc.) can be combined with the effort, the children get a higher level of protection. On the other hand, we also are children in their spare time. Sun assistance I shared with a student of the theater faculty of the theater class, which takes place directly on the beach. Taken together, I get it added up to a week to just over 50 hours, what one then has also quite ready to make, but it is a job for a good cause.

As I said, I work sometimes in rather poor districts ... and when I reported last time from the tourist areas and the historic center, this is it now the other side of the city of Cartagena. Two Faces of a city which could not be more different. On the one hand, the 30-story hotel towers, casinos and restaurants, bars and cafes, on the other side of corrugated iron huts, wooden huts, the homeless. Pigs, donkeys, cows, chickens, dogs and cats are all free on the dusty, pitted, unpaved Road running around. I've never in my life seen such poverty, yet people laugh, are friendly and show a vitality and energy, as they did not know many wealthy people. I must admit that I am not reluctant in this area, especially since some of them directly on the beach.

Another thing about the report I would like to have the motorcycle taxis. Probably the fastest, if not exactly the safest means of transportation in Cartagena thrilled me every time anew. The most fun on this beach, going from one end of the bay to the other and you must, the salty breeze on your face, is driven along by the sea.

So, what have I experienced anything like this ...? Last Saturday I was celebrating the first time in the city. Since I did not know anyone, I'm going alone pulled in hopes of finding somewhere port. This then has also worked quite well as my two girls expressed a flyer for a concert of their group in the hand. I got them for lack of local knowledge at once connected and am so come to the bar where the show was to take place. The troupe, consisting of four women are all Colombians but not from Spain, Argentina, Chile and Uruguay, I was then invited to the debate still several drinks and we were still together in a War Son and salsa bar anyway a fun night.

On Sunday I went to Castillio de San Felipe, an old English fortress perched on a hill in the city. Well, here it is nothing to report sooo much and I leave, I've finally hammer out time to talk the images for themselves.

That will then also have it for now.

Oh yes ... I already mention that I always appreciate comments and questions? The best always comes with NEM little whitewashing by whom the comment .... ^ ^

you soon! Hasta luego! Besos!

How To Word Invitation For Super Bowl

new 5km-personal best at the 1 Wismar stadium runs and the 37th real, - BERLIN-MARATHON 28th as a spectator

The weekend was very eventful. Who would have thought. Actually I had Saturday not so the right mood for a contest. Michael was missing, however, a 5 km best time and wanted for members of the Wismarer stadium run.
So we had to get up pretty early on Saturday, as we are only able to register at 9 clock. The runs took place in the athletic stadium of PSV Wismar and the distances 800m, 1000m, 2000m, 3000m and 5000m run in a row. In between, made the presentation ceremony. Thus we had expected
with waiting times and only started around 12:00 clock. The time we bridged a small sightseeing rank by the City, warming up and monitor performance of youth sports in Wismar. Mostly started in the smaller runs, the children from the local clubs.
learn how we started, then at the 5000 most of the parents of the children. Men and women were separated in this case, there are too many runners on the track otherwise.

We did the women with 6 runners in a clear frame. We ran a total of 12 1 / 2 laps. From the start, I came away quite well and was relatively early in the second place.

After several laps I noticed that I was back on the time sheets.

the first few miles I ran in rapid 4:32 minutes, in the following:

km 2 - 4:40
km 3 - 4:47
km 4 - 4:58
kilometers 5 - 5:02

In the third last lap I was then overtaken and tried my pace while preserving constant. Ended up with a good third place in my age group standings of the 1st Place. More than that I enjoyed a new personal best for 5000m in 0:24:25 hours.

It was a very nice little event. The entry fee was adopted for a donation, there were homemade cakes and a trophy for each age group. To our surprise, it did the same to me and Michael was standing on the podium and at the top: o)

After the run was a very relaxing sauna. Just the right feel his body and to relax.

said Sunday it again to get up early and we set about 6 clock on the way to Berlin. We wanted the 37th real, - BERLIN - MARATHON with 40 945 runners missed not leave. The launch was unique - we have actually seen Sabrina Mockenhaupt o)

It was raining all the time, but we made the best of the situation. Looked at the start of recreational athletes and went then past the Reichstag. Only a handful of people standing in front of us we took the opportunity to see inside of the building.

One of the things I wanted to do a long time. However, the snake was always before very long and the patience to make low there.

Then we went towards the finish to the Brandenburg Gate to watch the recreational athletes in their final meters. It was very exciting and amazing how quickly they ran past us. Thus, a speed I do not even get in the sprint on the track: o)

hours we were on us just before the finish, perhaps some well-known Faces to discover. Berlino clapped from each runner and you could see how relieved and happy they are to have finally made it.

I was thrilled and we fired every runner to loud. Micah wants next year his first marathon run in Berlin and I play so slow with this thought: o)

Love & Power Soul Eater Read

loose units

the time I leave the training a little sand. Somehow but sometimes in between. Physiotherapy for example. Slaving away for quite a while with NEM stiff neck and let me now treat manually. That is not a state, the body always in the direction of view with-to-turn - see also also funny from.
So you can indeed walk and run, but ultimately it is not a solution. You have to sometimes see things behind, where you're just walking past, or see if a car is crossing the road. Especially now that it is dark at night when running back - essential to life!

Bin walked three times in the last week. Monday, fortunately still in daylight along the Gehlsdorf bank, on Thursday along the city port. They were comfortable in the rounds 6-7 Minuten-km/h-Schnitt, just to relax my pace to think and get a clear head.

hours before breakfast was put on the pace but neat. I wanted to run again nice cozy, Micah also. For him, it was certainly comfortable, for me it was almost 10 seconds over my Bestzeitentempo.
Each time I carelessly and the distance between us grew, I had to hurry and picked up again. Annoying, but a good pace-maker.

Today I have placed 30 km with the bike back. It was good, even if the rain does not make one easily. Tomorrow I'm going to run after the physio but again got the feeling at the time to do too little.

This weekend is the marathon in Berlin simply, one of the Big Five , the event we are not going to escape and take over on Sunday. Of course, to see how the atmosphere is, Micha has done a lot for next year: o) Let's see whether and when to register.

The first marathon - that's what. Whether I see there do that. We will see.

How Can You Get Leafeon In Pokemon Indigo

Baltic Sea coast run in Kühlungsborn

was on Saturday, as every year in September, the Baltic Sea coast run Kühlungsborn on the plan. For me it was already the 6th Time in a row, it certainly has a tradition to take part there. Made

I had because of our short break, the best times and cracked some aches and pains nothing special. Just the 10 km (actual distance were passed through 9.3 km) and see what state I am.
drag the past week I have some tension in the neck with me around, somehow it will not be better. Unfortunately, not on Saturday. It also developed a headache. I was a bit moody and a bit tense before the start. When it went off

I also forgot to turn in terror my foot pod. I jumped on the short side and have it activated.

It was like every year straight, first along the promenade and on to the sheltered bicycle and walking path. After 5 km, was in a small wooded area and after a strong gust of wind (almost on an open field) the turning-point and refreshment.

me it was during the run not so good. I also had another stomach rumbling, yet feared to have some breakfast a lot. In addition, my pulse remained constant at 95% too high.

Once again it was teeth bite together and persevere. Michael told me as we walked towards us, that the time was quite good and I should go on. On the way back two runners about 3 km were directly behind me, what bothered me a little irritated and here to play the rabbit. Only on the promenade, they moved to a small increase past me. What a funny feeling. I was glad to finally see the goal. In the last few meters I sprinted to the finish 50:23 minutes.
A real opinion I had not at that time. The evaluation at home but then found that I even 1 second was better than last year; o)

Again it was nice to see some familiar faces. The event itself was well organized and relaxed. Has again been fun. Next year, we are sure to be.

First days in Cartagena

It is time again for my loyal readers to report what has happened in the last couple of days. As I had already written most recently, the departure from Bogota and therefore of my friends was there at the door. We had some really nice days, and were dancing again in the Parque Nacional Bogota, probably the most beautiful corner of this city. Finally, I've

then Michael, another volunteer from Germany and Josi cooked at my host family. There were meatballs with green peas Hack and potatoes! DELICIOUS Allen enjoyed it! Then finally the moment of farewell had come. Have I really not easy and my family it was no different. Was funny that my departure from the Bogotá much heavier than the ones in Germany. Probably this was because at that time that I am put together with 20 others, and this time I go on alone.

any event, we went on Thursday, 9 September with the flight to Cartagena. When I got off the plane I had to laugh out loud almost. Tropical 33 degrees Celsius and a humidity of about 80% ... and here am I to live a year ... unbelievable.

then went by taxi to my place to live, a high-rise apartment house quite far in downtown, where I now have a room in the apartment of my head. Everything is very nice so far. Yesterday (Saturday, 11.9.) I was following with my boss and her best friend in Boca Grande, the tourist hotels on the peninsula for the next. That's kind of amazing because to this extent I have never seen anything like it before. I've asked once who the hell makes in a place like vacation. If one is running around somewhere in Cartagena and looks like a tourist, you are often asked if you want to Boca Grande. ... No ... I do not want to go there! I know there are enough people to make vacation in a place to rent a room in a hotel and then the hotel leave for the rest of their holidays, although they are perhaps one of the most beautiful cities in general. It may sound strange, but somehow I feel every time someone says when addressed internally, I was just a tourist. On the other hand, I can understand the people here, of course. For them, tourism is a boon for the city and probably the most important economic factor. Of course, tourism also has its downsides. With these drawbacks, I will in the coming months, as you know, very intense deal. But to be more in the next report.

Where was I stopped .... So we were last night in the tourist district, have approved in a small bar of each beer and talked about such interesting topics as classics of sociology, cultural differences between Germany and Colombia and several scene problems in Germany. Mayerlin, my boss has also studied sociology and for me it was a pleasant challenge to talk about these issues in English ... which, admittedly, has also taken care of the odd laugh.

Today (Sunday, 12.9.) I went to 16 clock the first time alone moved towards the city, which for me was a very important step. I just feel I need to move alone in a city, taking you to my way. Has also all very worked well. I'm a little stroll through the historic center and I'm from the city walls looked in the sunset. And I've then also got to know a few people. Firstly, an independent seller of beer and the other a somewhat older Australian who has lived for 6 years in Cartagena. We talked a while together and then the two were so kind to give me even a little tour of the facilities. All in all, today went really well.

to city: During the taxi ride from the airport I had a very good feeling. Cartagena has it all that I've missed in Bogotá. Beautiful weather, smiling people, the sea, a good deal Calm and still so much more. The historic old town at night is one of the most romantic places I have ever experienced. Here one can fall into an open carriage ride through the streets, listening to the sounds of street musicians or just sit in one of the small sidewalk cafes and pass the time. So, who is unhappily could think about inviting his or his beloved or adored one trip to Cartagena. If not here then it works out, then I do not know. :)

morning begins at last my work. I was already short time on site yesterday and have some of the children know, that I will in future 'll spend my time and I am pretty on the whole. But it in the next report.

A long Weekend MILAN

According to the best times we have to indulge ourselves on the first weekend in September a break and a nice long weekend in Milan.

In order to describe in one word, it was fantastic . We have determined the day down more than 10 km on foot back to us all to see.
Saturday in the early morning went there by plane from Berlin to Italy, at 10 clock, we checked into our hotel and were delighted with the fantastic view over the rooftops to the cathedral of Milan.

After a break, we rushed into the fray and followed our plan. The preparation paid off. The day was marked by the window shop in the "golden square", a tour of the Cathedral and the enjoyment of Italian specialties.

on Sunday was pure culture on the plan. We looked at the Central Cemetery of Milan. We were very surprised about the many different beautiful and grandiose monuments. Man looks at the wealth of the respective families on the size of the grave.

course had to be there in the cultural part of the famous Lord's Supper. In a city tour and a city tour we have looked at. I was speechless, the knowledge obtained information about the story rise up inside of me goosebumps feeling.

Shopping in Milan is a must have. The Italians are very stylish and look really good. On Monday we were in this respect nothing. Besides the visit to the cathedral from above, we used the time until the departure in the late evening to our wardrobe a little aufzuhübschen.

Milan have been very impressed with a city that one can certainly watch a second time.

Nordic Track Audio 300

After three weeks

Tjaja, now almost three weeks have passed already and I am still in Bogota. Today we had the final test of our English course ... well, I for one am curious what happens. Among the comments to my last post, I just want to say that it would be nice if you could leave a name so I know who wrote what. Only so much, yes, the hair is still there and I see currently no reason to change that.

So now, but once on the subject. As already said, three weeks are almost over and I have some experience. We have been through a guided tour through the historical center of Bogota, were on Montserrat, a mountain directly in Bogota, on which stands a church, and from where you have a fantastic view of the city. Then when the sun went down and the city lights illuminated, I was just overwhelmed by the view. This one then only times the true size of this city is aware - to the horizon nothing but lights. (Pictures coming soon)

have one day later then we rented a bus and drove to an old Indian temple. The place is called Guatavita, is almost at 3,000 meters altitude and is a real sanctuary lagoon, nearly circular, in which the local Indians used to throw gold as an offering to the gods. Then, when the Spaniards conquered the country, they blew a big dent in the wall of the lagoon, through which the water should flow out to get to the gold. The atmosphere in this place is truly impressive. Climb up a small path from 2800 meters to 3200 meters, crossing the air, so to speak border. This is noticeable especially on the vegetation. Crossing is first a jungle-like vegetation of the area so much to be above 3000 meters. A very nice experience, and I can recommend, do not visit this place in a large group to the haunting atmosphere of exercise and honor this wonderful place on his way to. (Again, more images will follow) So much
first to the recent cultural program.
We were now exploring even twice in the evening the party life of Bogota. We were the first time in a small club in the Candelaria, the historic center of the city and the second time in a salsa nightclub. This much anticipated ... I was dancing, but I am still far away from salsa dancing to. The Colombians and Colombian we could take to the salsa-disco dance but all pretty good and were always very willing to teach one a thing or two. Home it's always a taxi at night since no bus service ... more well, and the second time I then immediately found the house of my host family.
before yesterday I finally got to visit my project. Well, if I'm honest, I've only been talking with the director and her husband, but I have a pretty good feeling about the matter. The focus of my work will be working with sexually exploited young people. Sexually exploited in this sense does not mean domestic Abuse but child prostitution and sex tourism. I think most people, and yet I probably also could not imagine the scale takes place even close to what child prostitution. The statements are the boss of it working without end, and I immediately had the feeling to come to a place where I'm needed (please do not understand what you are now wrong, eh:)). Next Monday through Wednesday I will get at least here in the project office in Bogota a short introduction to the work and the different areas and is next Thursday, then to Cartagena, where I probably should first teach music and drama. 'm Really curious how all of this is Sun The rest
This week, we now have a full program. Tomorrow is the last English-hour, the course really showed me once again brought a lot I think, and then we have a picnic including toys built from garbage (recycling) and Friday we have a small conference on the political history of Colombia which is certainly very interesting . In the evening it's off first in the Universidad Nacional and then into a club called Casa Babylon, as is how it should be the name be, Raggea. But here I grab a little in advance, after all, it is interesting to hear what happened. Therefore it the next time.
Perhaps a few words about the Universidad Nacional. This is one of the few Colombia's public universities. That means that the study is free, it is not easy at a place approach comes as the rush for places is enormous. The majority of universities in Colombia are private and that can mean quite possible that you have to lie down for the semester, several thousand euros (some in double digits). The specialty at the Universidad Nacional, however, that the police may on the campus. As expected, this place is so full of young people and alternative political activism, because no one here can be used (and even then please do not misunderstand, this is not explicitly to any form of radicalism, but the campus is a place for many to which one can think and act freely, in what Columbia is otherwise not always so harmless).
Finally again a couple of general impressions and feelings on my part. Bogota is a juggernaut .... loud, smoggy, bad weather. I have therefore decided to be really happy if I get to Cartagena. Although most people are very friendly and helpful, but I rarely see people with a smiling face. Now some might perhaps try to compare with Germany in the fall and would probably even close to the picture right. I'm looking forward in any case always, but sometimes when I see someone laughing in the street. Colombia is also unexpectedly expensive. Now I can not individual rates call, but who thinks, well here with little money to make ends meet is mistaken. The prices are not that far away from those in Leipzig. I say aware of Leipzig here, because in comparison to other German cities in Leipzig but can live very cheap. The difference for me - I've only maybe a quarter of the money available in Leipzig. My daily budget is 3.30 € and from that I can buy me two bus rides and what to eat cheap. This is partly because the exchange rate of Euro to Colombian Peso for a while is very bad. One euro was worth half a year ago still 3000 pesos, now it's only 2400 pesos and I can say that makes is quite noticeable.
For this reason, I just think about, whether I should allow advertising on this blog. If this is so in the near future should be, I ask you to forgive me so hard and still continue to read. But this, I will when the time comes again briefly write about.
addition, I am also not averse to small donations (all voluntary and without coercion). Who would like a bit of support so write me a little message and then I sign.

So .... written a lot:) If you have questions or would like to know anything specific I should of course also write a lot and then I'll try to respond.

Best wishes and good luck to you all!
Marcel
